Greetings!!
We have a pair of guest reviewers today! Which is a pretty awesome thing if you ask Paladin and myself. I’m very happy to introduce Hannah and her lovely friend,Patches,to the blog. Hannah has been a very supportive reader here as the cheetah and I have been on her fine blog, Hannah’s Happenings!.
When Hannah told Patches that a real live cheetah was doing film reviews,Patches insisted that they get in the act and we totally agreed with him! I told Hannah that anything was game for review and she came up with “Mindhunter”. Enjoy!
Hannah and I were asked by The Inner Circle to write a review – we picked a TV series called “Mindhunter”.
I was always on the edge of my tail to know what happened next! I didn’t mind not being able to nap because there was so much to concentrate on. The fast-moving “seens” and talking parts kept my ears and whiskers twitching. It helped that a cat was in many scenes as well 😮 The main woman fed a stray baby cat yummy-looking wet food every night (once her job made her head hurt).
Thank you, Patches! He has handed the laptop over to me now, so I can give a more detailed breakdown. I was very interested by the description of“Mindhunter”when it popped up onNetflixbecause I love mysteries and cop shows. This one involved learning more about the FBI as well as how the phrase“serial killer”was termed.
I loved learning about the psychology behind different murderers and seeing how it affected the two agents,Holden Ford and Bill Tench. After doing some research, I discovered that it is based on a book called Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker. I plan to buy it so I can learn about the real agents!
If you enjoy watching crime mixed with mystery and psychology, you will love this show 🙂 I always lean towards programs like “Law and Order” and “Dexter” because they hold my interest by wanting to solve the cases before the episode is over! Patches and I watched the first season every night (definitely more than one) until it was done –Mow, you must “woch!”
Not a bad first effort by Hannah and Patches!! I’m sure we’ll be hearing from them again very soon!! I like to thank them both for contributing a fine review and if you have seen “Mindhunter”,please share what you thought of it by dropping a comment below!!
Sounds like you enjoyed your show.

I love hime shows, and have watched the first half of the first episode of Mindhunter. I found it a little slow so far, but sounds like I should stick with it

Hands up I have to admit I’ve got a couple of episodes into Mindhunter and stopped, I loved the premise of it but I couldn’t get into it completely and Ash fell asleep in it so we moved onto something else, perhaps I’ll have to give it another try sometime.

I have to admit I am with Hannah and Patches; I always feel the need to solve the crime before it is revealed in the TV shows!!

Patches, you’ve done yourself proud with that review – my daughter also feels any series can be improved with the addition of a cat in at least one scene.
Hannah, I liked your review too 😀

Maybe I should give this series a try as well. I like Dexter, it’s one of my favorite series ever and if Mindhunter is in the same style I’m sure I will enjoy watching it as well.
